Meghan Markle and Martha Stewart appear to be in a quiet back-and-forth with each other ever since the People Magazine interview with the lifestyle guru caused a setback in royal reconciliations.
According to Martha, Meghan had been talking about the family reunion at Highgrove House during a dinner party they both had attended. Even though Meghan did not directly say anything about it to the 85-year-old, Martha stressed that she knew that was the case.
The revelation seemed to have caused a stir at the Palace as King Charles had placed a strict condition on the Sussexes that the details cannot be disclosed in public.
While a source close to Meghan denied that she ever said anything about it more than that her family has a “great” holiday, journalist Megyn Kelly weighed in on a key trait about Martha.
“Martha doesn’t spew s–t,” Megyn said during the latest episode of her podcast. “She gives it straight.”
The journalist pointed out that Martha is “sharp as a tack” and she couldn’t have misheard what was being talked about at the table.
Even though there are no actual details from the Highgrove meeting that have surfaced in the public, but reports have claimed that nonetheless the Palace is “concerned” about the incident.
Harry and Meghan have a reputation among the royals for publicising private affairs and given the secrecy that was around the Highgrove meeting, the possibility of a discussion would be considered a breach of trust.
Experts have warned that the Sussexes have a final chance to repair their relations with the King and this time there is no room for errors.
