Meghan Markle has taken followers inside her evening in Canada with Prince Harry, sharing a string of personal moments from their night out in Victoria.
The Duchess of Sussex posted the snapshots on Saturday after she and Harry attended the David Foster Foundation’s 40th anniversary celebration in British Columbia.
Meghan filmed the scene outside, with the Canadian flag waving against a clear blue sky and Victoria’s grand Parliament Buildings visible in the background. She simply captioned the clip, “About last night”, adding a Canadian flag emoji.
The next moment moved from the city to the evening itself in which she and Harry were smiling together in their formal black looks at the red carpet.
Meghan then turned the camera towards an elaborate chocolate creation shaped like a miniature grand piano.
The tiny dessert featured a keyboard, music stand and other intricate chocolate details, with a small David Foster Foundation anniversary card placed alongside it.
Harry could be seen smiling in the background as the Duchess filmed the sweet detail.
The posts gave the evening a more warm feel than the formal photographs from the gala, where the Sussexes were pictured alongside Foster and his wife, Katharine McPhee.
Meghan and McPhee have a longstanding connection dating back to their school days, while Foster has remained a friend of the couple for years.
