Meghan Markle is shifting her attention to important matters at home as speculation surrounding a royal return for the Sussexes grow.
The Duchess of Sussex has recently been making solo appearances, whether it is for the promotion of Cookie Queens, or making moves for her lifestyle brand.
The Highgrove House reunion with King Charles had been a delightful progress in the years-long feud, but Meghan is not expecting to make a comeback in the UK, no matter how much her husband, Prince Harry may seem eager, according to royal expert.
“Meghan is an intelligent woman. I’m sure she is perfectly aware of her extremely low popularity in the UK,” Jennie Bond told The Mirror.
“I should imagine she now views it as a lost cause and, in any case, she seems to be far happier with her sunshine life in California.”
The As Ever founder, who are been determined to build her brand outside to the US as well, had “encouraged” Harry to look towards the future but she does not have any further role to play in Harry’s reconciliation with the royals.
“I think her eyes are firmly set on their lives in California, their children and her business ventures,” Bond explained. “She seems to be perfectly reconciled to a permanent estrangement from her own father, so she probably doesn’t see any particular problems in Harry remaining estranged from his brother and having only a fragile relationship with his father.”
There are reportedly talks being held behind Palace doors following the meeting with the King. Prince William and Princess Kate are not happy it all happened.
However, Meghan is not concering herself with the chaos across the pond.
