Meghan Markle found herself in two back-to-back awkward encounters in just one week with famous people, but she is taking a different approach to the matter.
The Duchess of Sussex was mentioned by Martha Stewart in a latest interview by People Magazine, suggesting that Meghan had been spilling details of her ‘Palace meeting’ at a dinner they both had been.
Even though Martha admitted that Meghan did not directly say anything to her but she believed that she was talking about it.
Sources claimed that Meghan was trying to connect with Martha, like she did with Gwyneth Paltrow previously when the rift rumours emerged. Although Martha hasn’t responded in similar fashion.
Meanwhile, Meghan has remained unfazed through all of this. Martha also took a dig at Meghan suggesting that it is a “hard transition” for her to go from “princess to homemaking guru”.
“It doesn’t sort of follow,” Martha said. But that hasn’t stopped the As Ever founder.
Meghan has been sharing her “hosting notes” which are being liked by thousands of people on social media. This could be a quiet message that she will keep doing what she does, despite the criticism of people.
This also comes after a clip went viral from a charity gala where Meghan was “snubbed” by David Foster when she extended her hand in greeting. However, David issued a strong statement dismissing any such claims about “dear friend”.
While this had been the second setback of the week, it was quickly resolved by stressing that it was only a situation misconstrued into a “snub”.
