Prince Harry may be celebrating his recent reunion with King Charles and the family despite Prince William and Princess Kate’s alleged resistance to their return, but behind the smiles, all is not well for the Duke.
The Duke of Sussex hasn’t hit a home run on family reconciliation yet. A source close to Harry says the real roadblock is William, who allegedly believes “there will never be a place for Harry.”
There are reports that Harry misses William and Princess Kate, and wants his father to see his sons at peace. But, situation does not seem to turn in the Duke’s favour even at Diana’s anniversary, which is coming up.
But Meghan has already banned Harry from bowing down to his brother for his return to the royal fold.
The Duchess of Sussex supports Harry’s bid to make amends with the royal family, but she doesn’t want her husband to throw himself at William’s feet to make it happen.
The former Duchess believes the relationship must be built for the right reasons, with a mutual sense of contrition. She suggests Harry and William to sit down as adults about it.
The rift between the two royal brothers appears to have been brewing for years. William still views Harry’s allegation that he was physically assaulted in 2019 during an argument about Meghan as a deep betrayal.
Sharing his experiences and innermost thoughts might not be a wrong thing for Harry, given the trauma he and his wife experienced during their life in the palace. But the way he shared scathing insights into his inner thoughts in a memoir, which earned him millions, came under harsh criticism.
