Meghan Markle’s return to the British soil has sparked an intense debate about the reasons that are bringing her back to a place she once despised.
The Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down from her senior royal position in 2020 with Prince Harry, faced a brutal time due to the invasive media coverage of her. She spoke about being driven to suicidal thoughts because of it.

Week ago, the Sussex family got a glimpse of what life would be like in the UK during their private visit. The children got to visit their late grandmother Princess Diana’s final resting place and meet their extended family.
Prince Harry wants his children to “understand the world he grew up in and where their family comes from”.
And while there are worries about how Meghan will navigate the press, the sources insist that she is coming back not as a working royal but as a private citizen, and her team doesn’t operate from the royal institution.
The independence has given her greater control over her life.
