Megyn Kelly is not holding back.
In a candid new interview with the Daily Mail, the former TV host revealed which celebrities left the best–and worst–impressions on her, reviving old Hollywood feuds while also surprising fans with a few unexpected favourites.
Jane Fonda topped Kelly’s list of difficult encounters. Looking back at their viral 2017 interview, Kelly claimed she avoided discussing Fonda’s romantic scenes after being warned by Robert Redford’s publicist.
Instead, she shifted to plastic surgery—a move she says didn’t land well.
Kelly also recalled an uncomfortable interview with Bruce Willis, saying, “Usually people have some give. He didn’t. At all,” and describing the actor as “so ungiving, so ungenerous.”
She added, “And I hate to say it because of how he’s struggling now. But he was just unpleasant.”
She was equally blunt about former NBC colleague Al Roker and repeated previous claims about Ellen DeGeneres, concluding, “She is a bad person.”
Not every story was negative, though.
Kelly praised Kathie Lee Gifford, saying she “was nice to me during what was one of the most unpleasant years of my life.” She also described Jada Pinkett Smith as “so sweet, so sincere, [and] so genuine.”
Perhaps the biggest surprise? Kelly revealed she’s friends with Pod Save America co-host Tommy Vietor despite their political differences, saying, “He’s my favorite Pod Save America guy. No one else knows that.”
Love her opinions or not, Megyn Kelly clearly isn’t interested in keeping her celebrity scorecard a secret.
