Netflix star Nirmal Purja is beleived to be dead after a huge wall of snow and ice came crashing down a mountain in Pakistan during a climbing trip.
Rescue teams are still searching for the people who went missing after the tragic accident.
Purja, 43, became well known around the world after appearing in the Netflix documentary 14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible.
He was leading a group of 10 climbers on Broad Peak when the accident happened around midday on Thursday.
The group included climbers from Nepal, Pakistan, the United States, Oman, China and other countries.
After the snow and ice came down the mountain, nobody was able to contact the team, leaving families and fellow climbers waiting for news.
The Alpine Club of Pakistan said it received worrying reports about the accident and confirmed that Purja’s group could not be reached afterwards.
By Friday, rescue workers found four bodies but officials didn’t confirm who they were.
Six climbers were still missing as the search continued. Bad weather has also made the rescue work much harder because helicopters have not been able to fly safely.
Purja is one of the world’s best-known climbers as he broke some climbing records as well, including reaching all 14 of the world’s highest mountains in just over six months.
