Noah Kahan is not letting it on but he has secretly been working on a major project behind the scenes, which fans have been speculating about for months.
The 29-year-old indie-folk musician attended the Emmy Awards and was asked about an ‘exciting’ project which fans believe to be a soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.
When asked to share the details, the Northern Attitudehitmaker said, “I can’t tell you any more really, but uh yeah, we’ve got something. I got that thing on me right now. I got something in the works. I can’t speak much about it. My publicist will throw me into the trash can over there, but very excited about what we have and it was a really cool opportunity.”
When the interviewer noted that Kahan would be competing for the Oscars’ best song, he did not deny the possibility and smiled in the camera, going on to joke that it could be for the best actor category too, despite him not making an attempt to act.
Fans immediately flocked to social media and excitedly wrote, “noah kahan doing a hunger games soundtrack just feels inevitable at this point like the folk angst to dystopian pipeline is real and hes been on it since stick season.“
Another exclaimed, “THIS JS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR GIVE IT TO ME,” and “IF THIS IS TRUE IM DEADDDD OMG,” chimed in a third.
While one declared, “this is a nation wide emergency.”
