Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against South Africa in their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 fixture at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Wednesday.

Pakistan and South Africa have come face-to-face 27 times in Women’s T20Is and the Proteas dominate the head-to-head record with 15 victories, closely followed by the Green Shirts, who emerged triumphant on 12 occasions.
