Patrick Clancy, whose ex-wife Lindsay Clancy is on trial for the murder of their late children, was photographed smiling and holding hands with his new wife, Rachel Denis, in New York City this week.

The couple was spotted on Wednesday, September 2, walking through the city, with Patrick wearing a red Patagonia jacket and sneakers while Danis donned a white jacket and black leggings.

The grieving father was seen holding hands with his new wife as Lindsay Clancy faces a 12-person jury in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Shortly after the murder of Patrick’s children, he divorced Lindsay and remarried Rachel Danis. He testified in court about Lindsay’s deteriorating mental health. He described her struggle with severe insomnia and anxiety, telling jurors she “just kept getting worse and worse.”

His testimony helped significantly for the defence, arguing Lindsay was suffering from postpartum psychosis and shouldn’t be held criminally responsible.

Despite the heart-wrenching tragedy, Patrick has publicly asked for forgiveness on Lindsay’s behalf. Criminal defence attorney Mark Eiglarsh said: “Without question, Patrick Clancy saying that his wife is a victim and not a murderer is colossal for this jury.”
