Questions are being raised about the circumstances surrounding Presley Gerber’s admission to a sober living facility, with sources claiming his celebrity status may have affected how he was treated.
The 27-year-old, son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, reportedly arrived at Resolutions Living shortly after 6 p.m. while already under the influence. Staff had allegedly been warned about his condition but agreed to admit him.
Sources tell Rob Shutter that standard precautions may not have been followed when Gerber arrived.
“Presley wasn’t treated like an ordinary resident,” a source claimed.
“He was famous, his parents were famous, and people were intimidated. Nobody wanted to be the person patting down Cindy Crawford’s son.”
According to the outlet, Gerber reportedly behaved erratically and made troubling comments after arriving. Toxicology results are still pending, while authorities reportedly suspect an overdose.
Another insider questioned whether his famous family name influenced the facility’s approach.
“The entire point of a sober house is structure, boundaries and rules,” the source said. “Presley needed people willing to tell him no. Instead, everyone knew exactly whose son he was, and normal boundaries disappeared.”
