Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, known as the royal family’s safe hands, are encouraged to take much bigger and more significant roles.
Since King Charles and Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis, the royal couple have stood strong as the health scare hit the family and represented the monarchy at key events.
Most recently, the Duchess of Edinburgh became Royal patron of the Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team.
Speaking about Edward and Sophie’s upcoming crucial years, body language expert Darren Stanton predicted that they will be “used more and more as the year goes on.”
As per express.co.uk, he shared, “And looking at this, the Royal Family is in really good hands. Sophie in particular seems as though she would take to a more prominent role like a duck to water.”
Earlier, Sophie broke her silence over the ‘secret weapon’ nickname. In conversation with the Mirror, she said, “I like to fly under the radar. It’s all very well being a secret weapon, but if no one knows, maybe it’s too secret.
“I suppose I should take it as a backhanded compliment.”
