Meghan Markle was not forced by Prince Harry to move to the UK; it was a family decision.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made a historic decision to return to the UK with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who will begin school in September.
Harry and Meghan left the world in shock with their bombshell step. Now, an insider from Harry’s side told People, “Step by step, they want to be in the U.K.
“They want to have the time and give the kids the opportunity to be here.”
The source revealed that Meghan did not give in to Harry’s demand for a UK comeback, but it was a decision taken as a family.
“Meghan feels very fortunate that they’re able to give Archie and Lilibet the opportunity to experience both worlds,” the report revealed.
However, a former press secretary of Queen Elizabeth rang alarm bells for the Sussexes.
Alisa Anderson said, “I don’t think they will be welcomed back with open arms. They will have to rebuild that trust and affection — with the family and the public.”
But Harry, who was struggling to settle in the US, cannot wait to begin a fresh chapter in his homeland, especially during times when he and his team are preparing for the Invictus Games in Birmingham. “He will be in the weeds on it every day.”
“Harry never really stopped missing home. He’s missed that sense of connection and belonging. Britain is still home in many ways,” the source said.
For Archie and Lilibet’s sake, Harry “wants them to understand the world he grew up in and where their family comes from.”
