Prince Harry is scheduled to return to UK next month for a range of engagements including the WellChild Awards that he attends every year.
The Duke of Sussex had already made a trip last month for the Invictus Games activities and even managed a meeting between Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet with King Charles.
After the chaos of the royal arrangements, it was reported that Harry would likely accept the Buckingham Palace accommodation beforehand to avoid any more hassle.
The royal accommodation matter may have been resolved but Harry’s visa could become a new hurdle for his upcoming visit.
According to latest report by Newsweek, the U.S. State Department has withheld 18 documents relating to Prince Harry and will continue reviewing hundreds more in a Freedom of Information Act case related to his visa and past drug use.
The update comes after Heritage Foundation lost the case to release Harry’s documents as Judge Carl Nichols ruled that Harry’s privacy interests outweighed any public interest in disclosure.
Prince Harry’s team has been contacted but they have not yet made a comment on it. Sources have stressed that the Duke of Sussex had been truthful on his application to the US.
It remains to be seen if this case would become a nuisance as Harry travels back to his home country in a couple of weeks.
