Prince William and Princess Kate are looking for a different course of action after the monarch deviates from joint resolution.
William and Catherine want nothing to do with Prince Harry and Meghan, and they believed that the King would agree with them.
Following the meeting King Charles held with the Sussexes last month, the Prince and Princess of Wales were reportedly left “betrayed” and even “humiliated”. The Waleses are still unhappy about everything that Harry and Meghan have said about the royals publicly and the hurt they caused to their own family.
Prince William in particular is very furious. Meanwhile, sources have said that even though Charles has softened towards his younger son for the sake of Archie and Lilibet, Buckingham Palace and the Sussexes still have some friction, according to Woman & Home royal editor Emily Andrews.
The reunion at Highgrove House lasted for “a couple of hours”, perhaps enough for Archie and Lilibet to see their father and uncle William’s childhood home and play in the garden. However, it did have William and Kate spring into action.
A “crisis meeting” was held in private by the future King and Queen to determine their next step, per Palace sources cited by Emily.
The King “will never shut the door on the possibility of spending time with his family because, despite all the trouble, blood is blood” despite the mistrust.
“They are united on all fronts, but their relationship with Harry and Meghan seems to be broken forever,” the source said.
