Prince William and Princess Catherine, who were hoping to have a peaceful summer before their family went through a major change, had to make last-minute changes after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped a bombshell.
Even though, sources close to Harry have claimed that the King was made aware of his intention to move to Britain “six months” prior to the announcement, the news still caught the royals by surprise.
According to sources cited by Vanity Fair, the Waleses are “derailed” by the whole situation. The move is reportedly focussed to give Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet a better education experience and that their UK stay is “extensive” but not permanent.
The Sussex children will be starting preps school, which is near their home in Cotswold. On the other hand, Prince George will be starting school at Eton College.
“There’s a sense that William is going to have to be watching over his shoulder the whole time,” the source told the outlet. “He doesn’t know what his brother is going to spring on them all next. This was meant to be a happy time for him.”
With Catherine’s recovery and George starting a new chapter in his life, the new change has impacted William quite a lot.
Meanwhile, William and Kate have been spending time with King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals in Scotland. There were claims of a summit held to discuss the summit but that report has been denied by Palace aides.
But, it doesn’t mean discussions didn’t take place about it.
Prince William is “very concerned” about the Sussexes coming back and he is adamant to keep harmony in the Palace. There is already friction regarding Harry’s security fight with the UK Home Office and Ravec for his protection detail.
