Prince William and Princess Kate held an urgent meeting with senior aides as the royal couple feared losing control of the narrative.
The Prince and Princess of Wales believed that they were not informed in advance about the bombshell news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return.
According to Closer, “William is fuming. The Sussexes’ shock decision to return to Britain has created an enormous headache for the Prince and Princess of Wales.”
The future King and Queen are quite worried about the Sussexes’ new move as they begin life in the UK again.
William and Catherine sat down with their team to express their anger after being blindsided by this whole development.
“William and Kate were so angered at being caught off guard that they called an urgent meeting with senior aides to establish why they appeared to be in the dark over such a significant royal development,” the source said.
Princess Kate, especially, feels she’s being backed into a corner.
The Princess of Wales has been urged to make peace with Meghan, but she believes the Duchess “publicly humiliated” her.
“She’s scared Meghan will try to cause her more humiliation and once again destroy the reputation of the royal family,” an insider said.
The couple is also not in favour of Harry and Meghan doing a half-in, half-out plan as it may cause damage to the monarchy and royal roots.
