Princess Anne is set for a packed Saturday of sporting engagements, beginning on the water in Norfolk before heading to one of the biggest fixtures in the British equestrian calendar.
The Princess Royal will visit the Broadland Youth Regatta at Barton Broad near Neatishead, where young sailors from clubs across Norfolk will take to the water for a day of competition.
This year’s regatta carries extra significance for its host, the Norfolk Punt Club, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026.
The youth event is also making a return to Barton Broad for the first time in a decade.
Later the same day, she is due to turn her attention from sailing boats to horses as she heads to Stamford, Lincolnshire, for the Defender Burghley Horse Trials.
The trials are running from September 2 to 6.
