Eugenie has made a firm decision about the kind of relationship she wants to have with her parents,but Beatrice still seems to be in a dilemma. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams suggests that the mum of two has a reason behind her quandary.
He said that Beatrice “’appreciates the need for a visible distance between her and her father, but she is still the one who is considered closest to him”.
The 38-year-old also attended a funeral Paddy McNally, a former Formula One executive and long-time friend of her mother.
“Beatrice is the older sister,” he explained, noting how the princess feels responsible for her family dynamics as well.
“Initially it was not realised that she had been pivotal in advising her father on the catastrophically imbecilic Newsnight interview. It is now common knowledge after being dramatised.”
Moreover, sources close to Beatrice had previously revealed that she was devastated to learn about the scandals coming out about her parents. Even though having an association with Andrew and Fergie would not work in her favour, she still feels concerned about them.
