Princess Kate has been thinking about a long-term future and, keeping in mind the well-being of her and Prince William’s reign, she made a strategic move to settle the clash between royal brothers.
The news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal return did not sit well with the Prince and Princess of Wales, as per reports.
William, the future monarch, is still not in favour of making peace with the Sussexes, but his wife has other plans.
An insider told Rob Shutter that Catherine has been encouraging her husband not to give the public a message of division within the royal family, especially at times when Harry is seemingly setting up a ‘rival royal court.’
“Kate is the voice of reason. She knows William and Harry may never be brothers in the way they once were. But they can be civil, they can cooperate, and they can stop feeding the story that the royal family is permanently divided,” the source said.
Looking at the bigger picture, the Princess of Wales has been thinking strategically so she and William can have a peaceful reign.
“Kate is a chess player,” an insider shared. “She doesn’t need Harry to love William. She needs him to stop fighting him.”
