Sarah Ferguson is reportedly considering a major return to the spotlight, with television producers said to be vying for an exclusive interview as the former Duchess prepares to return to the UK.
According to The Sun, Ferguson has been “bombarded with requests” from producers around the world for a sit-down interview in which she could address the controversies surrounding her and her former husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
With a reported £10,000-a-month rental home awaiting her return, Ferguson could have a strong financial incentive to accept one of the lucrative television offers reportedly on the table.
A tell-all interview or documentary could provide a substantial payday.
Rather than hand over control of the narrative, however, the former Duchess is reportedly considering developing a programme of her own.
A source told the publication that Ferguson is weighing up “many approaches” and wants to ensure that anyone involved in telling her story is someone she knows and trusts.
“She is looking at her options,” the source said, adding that Ferguson would “only allow someone she knew well” to handle the project.
Ferguson was reportedly last photographed several months ago and has kept away from the royal spotlight as attention surrounding her association with Epstein resurfaced.
Her circumstances have also changed considerably since her former husband was stripped of his titles last year.
They were subsequently forced to leave Royal Lodge, their former Windsor home, with Ferguson understood to have been keeping a much lower profile since then.
The Sun reported over the weekend that Ferguson is preparing to move in the Home Counties.
The six-bedroom house could reportedly become her new base as soon as Monday.
