Sarah Ferguson has surely been paying the heavy price for her past association with Jeffrey Epstein, as her own daughter has now left her with huge heartbreak.
On August 17, Princess Eugenie revealed the face and name of her newborn on social media.
She named her daughter Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank in honour of those women she ‘loves and admires.’
According to New Idea, “Adelaide was always a special name for Eugenie – she wore Queen Adelaide’s diamond earrings as hair ornaments when she married Jack, the happiest day of her life.”
It has been said that Annina is a tribute to her best friend, Countess Annina Bruges von Pfuel. And it is not difficult to understand that Elizabeth is dedicated to her grandmother, the Queen.
But anything related to her own mother, Fergie, was nowhere to be seen after the Epstein files controversy.
The source shared Sarah’s reaction, who did not expect Eugenie to name her daughter after her, but it still ‘hurts’ deeply. Even her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, did not use either of her names for her two daughters.
An insider shared, “She wouldn’t dare to even expect Eugenie to honour her in this way, not now, not after the Epstein nightmare.
“It doesn’t make it any easier, knowing she’ll be lucky if she ever gets to spend time with her new granddaughter.”
The former Duchess of York has been taken away granny perks by her daughter, as Eugenie is keeping her parents at “oceans length” in order to create a controversy-free environment for her children.
Eugenie and her husband Jack are “desperate to give their kids a clean slate, and until Sarah and Andrew can clear their names, they’re both to stay away from their idyllic stress-free world.”
The report made a heartfelt confession about Fergie’s inner feelings, and that is, she wants to cuddle her fifth grandchild, but Eugenie’s ‘ban’ policy is still on the cards.
