Spider Man: Brand New Day is getting very close to Titanic at the global box office and the race is now getting very interesting.
The movie had another big weekend in cinemas. It made around $109 million around the world during its fourth weekend and stayed at number one on the box office charts in both the US and all over the world.
So far, the movie has made $2.22 billion from all over the world. That puts it only about $44 million behind Titanicwhich is currently the fifth biggest movie ever at the global box office.
Titanic stayed near the top for many years, so passing it would be a huge moment for Spider Man: Brand New Day.
If the movie keeps bringing in money at this rate, it could move ahead of Titanic very soon.
The movie, however, is also getting close to Ne Zha 2, which made $2.27 billion worldwide during its run.
This means Spider Man: Brand New Daycould soon have another big movie to catch.
Meanwhile, The Odyssey is also doing really well as it made $87.5 million in its sixth weekend and has now reached $1.44 billion all over the world.
That makes it Christopher Nolan’s biggest movie ever.
