Taylor Swift fans have found themselves waiting once again as Spotify faced an outage on the same day they were hoping to watch her new Patient Zero music video.
Swift’s video had already created a lot of excitement after it was shown during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. However, fans could not watch it on YouTube right away.
Instead, the video was available on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music while fans waited for the YouTube release.
Then Spotify started having problems on Tuesday.
Thousands of users reported that they were having trouble using the music service. According to Reuters, more than 17,000 people in the US had reported problems through Downdetector at one point. Spotify also confirmed that it knew about the issue and was checking what was happening.

The timing was not great for Swift fans, especially those who were using Spotify to watch Patient Zero.
The video stars Swift with Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. Cara Delevingne also appears in the video. Swift directed the music video herself.
Fans had already been told that Patient Zero would finally come to YouTube on September 29.
So, after waiting for the video to arrive on YouTube, some fans were then faced with another problem when Spotify started having issues.
For fans who wanted to watch Patient Zero, it was certainly an unexpected wait.
