Taysom Hill bids farewell to the Saints but dropped a subtle hint with his NFL future undecided.
The Swiss Army knife, as known in Saints, Hill shared a post on social media on Wednesday, July 28, confirming he won’t be returning to the New Orleans Saints for his 10th season.
However, Hill’s post left fans speculating whether he has decided to hang up the boots or if there’s any room for making a comeback for 2026.
Hill reflecting on the time spent during the offseason to decide his future.
“I still don’t have a clear answer about what the future holds, but I know that returning to New Orleans is not in the cards,” said Hill.
“As training camp begins, I didn’t want my silence to be misinterpreted, and as hard as it is to put into words, I wanted to express my gratitude,” he added.
For the unversed, since the Super Bowl era began, Taysom Hill has stood alone as the only NFL player to have thrown over 1,000 yards, rushed for more than 1,000 yards and had over 1,000 receiving yards.
That said, Hill is one of only five players to have at least 10 touchdowns in each category.
Hill suffered a scary knee injury in December 2024, that left him sidelined from the roster.
Though he kicked off the 2025 season on the physically unable to perform list (PUP), he rejoined the team, playing 13 games.
