Travis Kelce is back at football — but apparently still floating somewhere above the wedding dance floor.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, offered a rare glimpse into his and Taylor Swift’s headline-making wedding while speaking with reporters at training camp Wednesday.
Asked about his offseason, Kelce didn’t need much time to pick a highlight.
“It was a fun offseason, man,” Kelce said. “Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”
And judging by his next comment, the celebration was anything but low-key.
Kelce called it “a crazy night” packed with “a lot of celebration,” before making it clear that the honeymoon glow now has to take a back seat.
“Football, baby.”
Kelce and Swift reportedly tied the knot July 3 at Madison Square Garden in front of roughly 1,000 guests, turning the New York arena into one of the most star-packed wedding venues imaginable.
Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Emma Stone and Brad Pitt were among the celebrity guests, while Kelce’s Chiefs teammates and coach Andy Reid also reportedly attended.
NFL legends Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were part of the guest list, too.
Reid later joked that Kelce managed to stay in shape during the offseason thanks to “a lot of dancing at his wedding.”
A source told People magazine that Swift and Kelce were “beaming” throughout the celebration, adding, “A huge smile never left either of their faces.”
Now, with veterans reporting to camp July 29, Kelce has traded wedding bells for footballs.
The offseason may be over, but that “best night of my life” clearly isn’t leaving his highlight reel anytime soon.
