Taylor Swift has turned everyone she has met into her admirers, and her husband Travis Kelce especially loves an occasion to talk about her talents.
For the latest episode of New Heights, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother Jason Kelce invited Tom Cruise who sang praises of the pop superstar.
Speaking about her, the Top Gunstar said, “She’s a cook, a painter, a writer, a poet — being able to take something and then create in it, I admire that. When I see people, I’m always looking at their skills and trying to understand, and then I learn from it: How do we apply it? […] And you’re just a beautiful couple. It’s lovely, in every way.”
Kelce was beaming with pride at the admiration for the Grammy winner and said, “She knows everything… She sees the flags coming in like ‘Oh that might be a defensive hold’ I’m just like ‘What.. what did you say sweetie?’ She was like ‘That’s encroachment’ I’m like ‘You know what that is?’ She’s on it now […] Once you understand the full gambit of everything that is a part of a show or a part of a team or a part of a sport, it makes it that much more fun to watch because you’re seeing it from a smaller lens and you’re so appreciative of the bigger outcome.”
The athlete continued, “That’s why she loves doing the directing her music videos, from the story to the rhythm to the visual that you’re getting, she just gets engulfed in it and she loves it. And you can tell she loves it just by the outcome.”
