Troye Sivan got into the studio with Jack Antonoff again for his upcoming album, She’s The Best, after collaborating on earlier projects and was once again inspired by The Bleachers frontman.
The 31-year-old Australian musician spoke about working with the Isimo hitmaker, 42, in a new interview and noted, “Something that I love about Jack [is] the way that he works is everything is set up and ready to go. He’s got obviously the most insane gear, and he’s a very, very talented multi-instrumentalist.”
Speaking about the creative process, the Strawberries & Cigarettes hitmaker said, “The process is so alive and vibrant. He’ll walk up to something and play it, and he will play it maybe twice, and then he moves over to the next thing. It’s this very free process, and so that was inspiring.”
Sivan’s new record is scheduled to be released on October 9th, and boasts of exciting collaborations and features – including a Charli XCX vocal feature, as well as her husband and The 1975 drummer George Daniel.
The One of Your Girls singer also starred Nicole Kidman and Sasha Colby in the music video for the lead single, She’s The Best,which was released in August.
