
BTS ARMY gets a pop star addition as Zara Larsson proudly declares herself a fan.
She made a sweet admission about working with the globally renowned K-pop boy band, which have gained renewed attention after Larsson and the septet’s performance at the opening night of the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
During a VIP soundcheck Q&A for her Midnight Sun Tour at Brooklyn Paramount on Thursday, March 26, the Swedish singer and songwriter spoke warmly about her experience collaborating with BTS on the 2019 track A Brand New Day.
Asked what it was like working with RM, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, J Hope, Suga and V, the 28-year-old described the collaboration as an unusually smooth and enjoyable experience.
“It was really fun and easy,” she explained, noting how modern technology has changed the way artists collaborate.
Rather than meeting in person, the musicians exchanged their parts remotely, with the Talangwinner recording her contribution and sending it back before the members added theirs.
Notably, she would clearly be open to another chapter. “So I’d love to do it again, of course. I’d love to,” the Lush Life singer continued.
When the interviewer followed up with the simplest question, “Are you a fan of BTS?” Larsson answered without hesitation, “Yes!”
The resurfacing of the clip has nevertheless created a fitting full-circle moment.
Months after Larsson spoke about her BTS connection in Brooklyn, both artists found themselves performing on the same major festival lineup at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 18.
