Zara Tindall will be following in the footsteps of her mother Princess Anne just weeks after the 75-year-old completed a crucial overseas visit.
King Charles’s beloved niece will be attending the opening ceremony of the FEI World Equestrian Championships at Allianz Park in Aachen, Germany, on August 11, and will be meeting some important people.
Even though Zara is not a working member of the royal family, she will be joining forces with Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands and Infanta Elena of Spain.
The Olympic equestrian, 45, will have a prominent role and also mark a full-circle moment. The city if Aachen is where Zara earned her gold medal two decades ago at the 2006 World Equestrian Games.
Princess Catharina-Amalia will formally signal the start of the championships. Meanwhile, Zara will be attending as a guest among other European royals.
