King Charles earned praise for his new initiative at Buckingham Palace that is beneficial for the environment.

To seek a more sustainable lifestyle, the monarch introduced his new electric vehicle chargers at the front of the Palace.

Being vocal about climate change, the King’s project Clad in livery green with the monarch’s cypher – a crown above the letters CR, which stand for Charles Rex ( Latin for King).

The installation in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace aims to transition to a predominantly electric vehicle fleet.

King Charles, in recent times, has introduced several sustainable projects across the royal estate.

Purse James Chalmers, Keeper of the Privy Purse, shared the details of electric car chargers in the annual Sovereign Grant review.

Among them, the most eye-catching ones were the “Pod Point” electric vehicle charging points.

As per Daily Mail, Mr James said that “the charging points, which have been installed across the royal estate, including Windsor and Sandringham, but most notably in the forecourt at the front of Buckingham Palace, were a ‘major move’ towards fully electrifying the royal fleet.”
