Katie Price has opened up about son Harvey’s health struggles, revealing that his BMI is more than double the level classed as obese and that he will soon be starting Mounjaro.
Speaking to her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show podcast, the 48-year-old former glamour model said that Harvey is starting Mounjaro.
Sophie also agreed that he should go ahead with the treatment .
“Yeah, I think that will really help him because he’s struggling at the minute.”
Harvey, 24, lives with Prader Willi Syndrome, blindness and autism, and former glamour model Katie previously confessed seeing him tip the scales at 30st “breaks her heart”.
Speaking to Sophie, she continued: “It’s taken so long but he’s starting [the jabs]. “I can’t wait. Then he can do the rollercoasters, he can do more, walk more and have more energy.
“To be obese you need to have a BMI of 27. Harvey’s is 59, so way up – he’s morbidly obese.
“So he needs it for his health. This isn’t for looks, it’s for a better quality of life for him.”
The comments come after the mum-of-five enjoyed beach party in Ibiza with Harvey at Wayne Lineker’s O Beach club.
