Apple CEO John Ternus made his debut at Apple’s annual event “Surprise and Shine” announcing new products including iPhone Duo (available October 23), iPhone 18 Pro (available September 18), Apple Watch Series 12 (available September 18), Apple Watch Ultra 4 (available September 18), and AirPods 5 (available September 18)
iPhone Duo
This marks the first foldable iPhone with a passport-like design, with a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner Super Retina XDR display when opened. It is powered by the A20 Pro chip with a custom vapour chamber for sustained performance. Available in star white and Night Sky, pricing starts at $1,999. Preorder of the foldable iPhone starts on October 16, with availability on October 23.
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
The Pro models offer a variable-aperture 48MP fusion main camera with six laser-cut blades for creative control over depth of field. Powered by A20 Pro chips built on 2nm technology, both models have 30 hours of usage. They are available in black, silver, glacier, and burgundy.
Apple Watch Series 12
The Series 12 introduces an all-new health sensing system that provides the most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable, every five seconds. It provides up to 24x more frequent HRV readings for stress and recovery insights, plus a new readiness score (0-10) with recommendations like recover, pace yourself, ready, or go for it. It is available in dark bronze, black, light gold, space grey aluminium, titanium finishes, and new ceramic options in pearl white and night blue.
Apple Watch Ultra 4
The durable Ultra 4 comes with the latest S11 chip and has the longest-lasting battery among all Apple Watches, with up to 45 hours of Max Extended Workout capability. It has the same Health Sensing System and Audio Intelligence functionalities as the Series 12. It will retail for $799 starting from pre-order now and ship on September 18.
AirPods 5
The latest AirPods 5 have up to 1.5x more Active Noise Cancellation capabilities than their predecessors, which means 50% more noise cancellation than AirPods 4 with ANC. They come with the latest multiport acoustic system, which gives you better audio quality, integration with Siri AI, and Live Translation. Pre-order now; shipping starts on September 18.
Beyond these products, Apple also announced software updates. iOS 27 features Siri AI with personal context understanding, Apple reference image for photo authenticity verification, iPhone Handoff for switching between two iPhones with the same number, and a redesigned Health app with a longevity tab and Health Age feature.
