Anne Hathaway has been celebrating and appreciating Sabrina Carpenter’s art as a musician for a while now, but she is just as excited to see the pop superstar flourish in Hollywood.
The 43-year-old actress was asked about who is the ‘It Girl’ in Hollywood right now as she arrived for a press event for her movie, Verity, and the Princess Diaries star named Carpenter.
Hathaway noted that with so much talent around, she was spoiled for choices to answer, but mentioned that she is really excited to see the Espresso hitmaker in the Fred Astaire biopic, with Margaret Qualley and Tom Holland.

Carpenter will be making her return to acting after starting her career as a Disney star, and fans all around the world are excited to see her work on the big screen.
Fans flocked to social media and reacted to Hathaway’s video, writing, “oh sabrina even acclaimed actress loves u. that oscar is so close now.”

The biopic starring Carpenter will reportedly go into production in early 2027.
