Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis appeared to their candid selves as they joined their parents Princess Kate and Prince William at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Saturday.
The royal children only make a handful of appearances during the year and it is rare to see them interact with one another in a very casual way.
The Waleses sat together to watch the games at the Hydro arena and also spoke to athletes at Wales House in the centre of Glasgow.
The family were talking to identical twin gymnasts Abigail and Emily Roper who won bronze medals within an hour of each other earlier in the week. Charlotte was particularly seen interested in learning about the “stretching and conditioning” before the game.
During that moment, Catherine revealed that Louis was practicing his handstands, to which the eight-year-old said, “A bit, but Charlotte says I’m not very good.”
When the twins asked Charlotte if she could do one, the 11-year-old confidently said “yeah”.
George, when he was asked, said, “I’m rubbish at anything that involves flexibility.”
Prince William overheard the conversation and pointed out that his daughter “loves gymnastics and ballet” and Catherine added that Charlotte also “likes her dancing”.
The Waleses were then asked to update the medal table, as two more gold medals had been won by Team Wales. Prince William asked his youngest to do the honours.
It was a rare glimpse into the relationships that they all share with one a other, especially the children.
