Apple has seemingly confirmed a slew of unreleased products following a code hidden in the macOS Tahoe 26.7 Release candidate that leaked references to more than 10 new devices, including camera-equipped AirPods, a foldable iPhone, and an all-new smart home hub.
The accidental leak included a 13-second demo video showing a man wearing AirPods picking up a book while a voice-over states: “With Visual Intelligence, your world becomes savable. See something you like? Just ask me to save it for later.”
Apple’s AI-powered camera-enabled AirPods would be the first big wearable device by Apple with AI-enabled visual abilities.
Other leaked products include:
- A foldable “iPhone Ultra” with reportedly limited supply at launch
- A new Apple smart home hub with widget gallery support
- OLED MacBook and iPad mini models
- Next-gen AirPods 5 and HomePod mini
- An updated Siri remote for a new Apple TV
- Potential Apple security camera
Other unidentified identifiers of the product include A3436-A3441, A3456-A3457, and A3465, even though there is no information regarding their function yet.
However, even though some people were sceptical that it was indeed an accidental leak, taking into consideration the company’s secrecy, analysts believe that the timing coincides with Apple’s yearly event that takes place in September when new iPhones are unveiled.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Ultra are expected to lead the event as one of the new additions, with the A20 Pro processor being 18% faster and 30% more power efficient compared to the previous generation.
