Ariana Grande is getting ready to lay it all out in her upcoming album, petal.
On Sunday, July 26, the pop icon, 33, took to her Instagram to share another lyric from her 8th studio album, set for release this Friday.
“Heartbreak won’t bite here in paradise,” she wrote alongside what appears to be behind-the-scenes footage from an unspecified music video.
The lyric comes after her split from her Wickedcostar, Ethan Slater, after three years together. Shortly after news of the split was confirmed in June 2026, Grande sparked reconciliation rumours with her former backup dancer, Ricky Alvarez, whom she briefly dated between 2015 and 2016.
The Grammy-winner has been promoting her upcoming record while on the eternal sunshine tour for her last album. She has previously shared snippets from a music video from what fans believe is the album’s title track, as well as lyrics from the intro track, kiss me.
A few lucky fans have already gotten the chance to listen to the album in full, with many describing it as her best album yet.
