During his latest Weverse livestream the BTS star revealed that he recently got one of his ear piercings redone after it had closed up.
On Thursday, August 6, the K-pop sensation caught fans’ attention while talking about his earrings, before sharing the story behind his updated look.
“Ah, earrings…I just got them newly pierced,” he said with a smile.
The 30-year-old artist explained that longtime ARMYs may already remember he originally had three piercings in one ear.
However, one of the piercing holes eventually closed, prompting him to have it pierced again.
“Probably the ARMYs who’ve been watching me since way back would know, but I originally had three piercings here, right?” the South Korean singer said while pointing to his ear. “But this spot had closed up, so I got it pierced again.”
The revelation quickly delighted fans, many of whom recalled his earlier triple-piercing look from previous eras.
V has often experimented with jewelry, hairstyles and luxury-inspired looks throughout his career.
