Dolly Parton’s voice will be heard one more time on a new U2 album, months after the country music star’s death.
Parton recorded a song with U2 before she died. The song, called Torn,will be part of U2’s new album, Carnaval De Luz.
The album is set to come out on November 13 as it will have 12 songs, with Tornas the final track.
The song also feature U2 singer Bono. Parton, Bono, U2 and songwriter Johnny McDaid worked on the song together.
Torn is about a family falling apart as the song looks at the pain that can come when family members are no longer close.
Parton died on August 25 at the age of 80. She had kept working on music and other projects before her death.
Her team has also said that some of the projects she had been working on were already being prepared for release.
That means fans will still have new music and other work from the singer to look forward to.
For fans, hearing Parton’s voice on a new song will be an emotional moment.
The song will give them a chance to hear her perform again while also bringing her work together with one of the world’s best known rock bands.
U2’s Carnaval De Luz will be released on November 13.
