The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a highest-risk category warning on recently recalled frozen berries sold at Publix.
The FDA has urged the public not to eat the affected products that were shipped across eight states.
The company first announced the recall of four frozen products of GreenWise organic blueberries carried by retailers across eight states on July 29, 2026.

The outbreak has left 12 people sickened and hospitalised four, as per the last FDA update released on July 30.
The products in question have been removed from shelves, but the products don’t expire until 2028, date until February 9, 2028.
The FDA warns they may still be lurking in freezers.
The frozens berries recalled, shipped to Publix retail stores in eight states include” Albama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
