Juno Temple has found her happily ever after, and it was all thanks to her Ted Lasso costar Hannah Waddingham.
While promoting the newly-released season 4 of Ted Lasso in a TFI Unplugged special on Tuesday, August 4, Temple — who portrays Keely Jones — revealed she secretly married Michal Syzmanski, who she met on the set of the hit Apple TV+ comedy in 2021.
“I got married,” Temple, 37, announced, explaining that she and Szymanski “met on Season 2” Ted Lasso.
The actress kept details of the wedding private but confirmed the ceremony took place “in the last two years.”
Waddingham — who portrays AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton — offered a glimpse into how the relationship began, explaining that Temple had asked for her blessing to date Szymanski, who was working as Waddingham’s driver during filming.
Waddingham happily approved because he was “gorgeous,” but she had one condition. “Look after my girl,” she recalled telling him, before adding of the couple, “They are the greatest oxygen to each other in the universe.”
Temple also shared how they kept their romance hidden during production. “[When] he was driving Hannah, they had a secret code where I could go and meet them.”
The pair made their relationship public at the Top Gun: Maverick premiere in May 2022 but have largely kept it out of the spotlight.
