Olivia Rodrigo’s new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, is the album of the year for Jonas Brothers, as they revealed during a recent podcast episode.
The brothers and bandmates – Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas sat down for a conversation with Jake Shane and discussed Rodrigo’s new album in detail.
While talking about the song, maggots for brains, Nick called it a “great song,” and not only a great album but “the best album of the year.”
He revealed that he has been working out to it at the gym, saying, “shout out to Olivia.”
Nick added, “I think what she did with the production with Dan Nigro is phenomenal, and also the lyrics are just next level good.”
While Kevin chimed in to add, “yeah she’s so talented.”
Jake also noted that the album tells a chronological story, and listening to it feels like watching a movie, to which Nick responded, “she’s next level.”
