Meghan Markle made a rare solo public appearance on Tuesday evening, attending a special screening of Cookie Queens while also building anticipation for the latest addition to her lifestyle brand As Ever.
The Duchess of Sussex arrived at AMC The Grove in Los Angeles for the screening, which was followed by a Q&A with director Alysa Nahmias.
Meghan joined the discussion as executive producer, reflecting on the film and the inspiring stories at its heart.
For the event, Meghan opted for an elegant all-cream outfit paired with brown open-toe sandals and layered gold bracelets.
While she wore her gold wedding band, royal watchers noticed that her iconic engagement ring from Princess Diana’s collection was missing from the look.
During the Q&A, Meghan shared a piece of advice Prince Harry once gave her, revealing how his experience serving as an Apache helicopter pilot in the British Army shaped the way he approaches life’s challenges.
Recalling his words, she said: “My love… above the storm, the sun’s always shining.”
She explained that Harry’s perspective has stayed with her, reminding her to step back during difficult moments and remember that brighter days are often just beyond the challenges in front of us.
Expanding on the thought, Meghan encouraged the audience to keep a broader perspective when facing setbacks, saying many of life’s biggest obstacles eventually become experiences that make people stronger.
Her latest product, As Ever Blackberry Spread, is set to launch tomorrow.
Introducing the new preserve, the brand described it as:
“Meet our newest pantry favorite. Made with beautifully ripe blackberries for a rich, vibrant flavor that brings a little taste of the season to your table.”
