Meghan Markle seemed to be setting the groundwork for what her lifestyle will look like in Britain, despite the shock sent from King Charles’s unprecedented letter.
On Monday, the monarch had to issue a clarification about the royal statuses of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, noting that the couple are “private citizens” and will be operating in their own capacity for their charitable and commercial ventures.
The bombshell had taken the Sussexes off guard as their spokesperson shared their reaction to the letter. It was also reported that the couple only had two minutes to digest the news before the public announcement was made via the Lord Chamberlain.
Although, insiders have pointed out that returning to the royal fold was never on the Sussex agenda, but being “public figures” may have been. And it seems that Meghan is already sowing the seeds for it.
Meghan was recently spotted near a luxury Soho Farmhouse, where A-listers frequent, including the Beckhams, according to Daily Beast’s Tom Sykes.
Sources revealed that she arrived as early as 9 a.m. and received considerable “fanfare” as she was introduced to several senior staff members. It is believed that she would be a regular there since she is thought to be a member of the club.
Moreover, the club is also close to the Beckham residence and the family is often spotted there.
Previously, David Beckham and Prince Harry had close friendship but they ended up cutting ties after the Sussexes suggested the Beckhams had been allegedly leaking stories about them.
Over the years, Meghan has shown that she wants to bury the hatchet as she wore a Victoria Beckham blouse for one of her public events. And now that she is back in Britain, it would be useful to reconnect and befriend ‘old foes’.
It is unclear how the Beckhams would react to it but it could all begin with all of them coming under one roof.
