Niall Horan brought a little One Direction nostalgia to the opening night of his new tour.
The Slow Handshitmaker kicked off his Dinner Party: Live On Tour era on Tuesday, September 22, at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena.
One of the night’s biggest singalong moments came when he performed Steal My Girl,his former band’s 2014 hit, as part of his solo set. The song appeared toward the end of the main set.
Notably, the X Factoralum wasn’t simply dipping into his One Direction past for a quick reference. Steal My Girl was performed as a full song, marking a clear callback to his years with the group while keeping the spotlight firmly on his current solo era.
The opening-night setlist also included a poignant moment with End of an Era rendition when late Liam Payne’s voice note was played.
