Prince Harry and King Charles reignited hopes of ending their rift for good following their long-awaited reunion at Highgrove House in the UK earlier this month.
But a disappointing new update suggests things have suddenly changed behind closed doors.
According to a source, father and son have not spoken since saying goodbye to each other on July 10.
Palace insiders insist there have been no phone calls, no text messages, and no plans for another face-to-face meeting.
“The reunion ended, Harry flew back to California, and that was it,” Rob Shuter claimed citing one palace insider.
“There hasn’t been a single conversation since. People wanted this to be the start of something bigger, but right now there’s nothing else on the calendar.”
The Sussexes’ first meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla in four years was never intended to erase years of hurt overnight.
“It was an important first step, not a miracle cure,” another royal source says. “Everyone left feeling the meeting was worthwhile, but nobody walked away believing everything had suddenly been fixed.”
For now, both sides have returned to their separate lives.
King Charles has resumed his royal schedule, while Harry is back in California with Meghan and their children.
But experts believe the goodwill from the reunion remains, but momentum has stalled as the monarch kept thee door open. But it hasn’t been thrown wide open either.
The insider added: “Until someone makes the next move, the relationship is standing completely still.”
The meeting was history, but whether it becomes a new beginning or simply a memorable pause now depends on what happens next.
