c are moving onto the next phase of their reconciliation plans with King Charles, with a little bit more hopefulness.
There had been reportedly big plans in the work at the Sussexes’ end as they are trying to rebuild their relationship with King Charles, especially as the doting grandfather wants to spend more time with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The meeting at Highgrove House last month turned out to be a success, which is why they are optimistic about the next phase of their plan. According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Harry and Meghan would have to be precarious with their choices this time around.
“Their plan is undoubtedly to see more of Britain, to come over more often and see more of the King,” he told GB News.
Noting the efforts being made to have King Charles at the year’s Invictus Games in Birmingham next year, he believes that it all depends on how it turns out in the end.
“The plan is one thing, the execution is another,” Fitzwilliams said, adding that “it is unclear how that will be managed”.
Prince Harry still has to resolve his security issues before the beginning of the Games next year so he can comfortably bring his family.
This visit had been chaotic due to the uncertainty surrounding the police protection, eventually cancelling Meghan’s appearance at the Invictus events. Harry wants to make sure that is not the case next time.
