Prince Harry’s team expressed their excitement about welcoming special guests in Birmingham.
The Duke of Sussex’s passion project, the Invictus Games, is set to arrive in his homeland, the UK, next year. Royal fans are anticipating a public reunion between the former working royal and King Charles.
There are even strong reports that Harry is hoping to see his father at least at the opening or closing ceremony of the event.
Today, August 5, the Invictus Games Foundation official Instagram page lauded the efforts and dedication of the community members who took part in Round the Island Race.
The statement reads, “Last month at the Round the Island Race, members of the Invictus Community joined the Gladiator Sailing Team to mark the countdown to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.
“Proudly carrying a sail featuring the #invictusgames Foundation logo, the team brought the Invictus Spirit to one of the world’s largest sailing events.
“Together, they demonstrated the determination, teamwork and unconquered spirit that defines the Invictus Community.”
At the end of the message, Harry’s team expressed gratitude towards all those people who made this milestone possible.
Invictus Games Foundation’s spokesperson also said on behalf of the entire team that they “look forward to welcoming the world to Birmingham in July 2027.”
This update comes amid growing rumours that Prince Harry will invite his father and other key members of the royal family to the Invictus Games, which are set to be held in 2027.
