The Prince and Princess of Wales brought back their shared passion for community work to the rugby pitch on Tuesday, visiting AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium, home of the Leeds Rhinos.
Prince William and Kate were there to learn more about the work being carried out by the club and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, which uses sport to support people across the local community.
It supports people living with Parkinson’s, dementia and other conditions, the Foundation turns rugby’s community spirit into opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
Its work generates more than £10 in social value for every £1 invested, underlining how a stadium can serve as a community hub long after the final whistle.
